I think Im so blessed to have these 2 little boys they are the sweetest little ones I just love them so much. Macoy turned 3 on May 22 and Boston on June 20. They are the best little buddies, they play so well with each other. I just want to eat them up!!!

Valentines Day

I love Valentines Day, it just makes these cold days a little more fun.

My kids were in need of church clothes so they each got an outfit, Avery has a mind of her own though and wants me to take it back she only will wear what she picks out so I tried, I just have to take her shopping with me and let her decide she is so silly.

The whole week of Valentines day we try to do as many heart shape foods as possible and my kids love it, we did heart waffles, bananas, sandwichs, cheese, jello jigglers, muffins, and lots of pink drinks, my kids just love it and I think I enjoy just making it.
Avery set the table for our family night valentines day dinner and had name tags on everyones spot, it was so cute..

Avery turned 6 crazy she is getting so big we took a few girls to classic skating and had a blast!!!

Live the Life

I have not been a good blogger so I thought I would at least post a few pictures from Halloween, It was so much fun this year both boys wanted to be Spider Man and its now a month and a half later and Boston is still wearing this costume, we have tried to hide it but he will just ask and ask until we find it. So what do you do but let him enjoy it he is only young once and its really cute to see him take it on and off he is so good at it. Sorry really cheesy but Avery took the picture.

Temple

We were able to go to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house we are so truly blessed to be so close to so many temples, it is of course another beautiful temple that has such a peaceful feeling inside. We went with the Helsten girls, Elder girls and my 3 little kiddos. Good thing everyone was there to pass kids around they loved it, couldn't have done it alone.
Then they serve a little cookie and water what a great idea, as you can see they were just about done.

Summer fun

We got a little blow up pool and did my kids love this, they had already been out all day long with the whole neighborhood over, then they took naps, and went in for a second time, Boston has his shirt on and Macoy has no clothes on, silly kids this is what I came out side to. It wasn't the nicest day bout luckly I have a hot water tap and they were in Heaven.

Look in the background I have never had a garden so Im attempting to grow tomatoes, peppers, onions, squash and a little herbs we will see how it goes I love love fresh vegtables

These 2 little guys get a long really well Boston in always so sweet to him.

And my sweet little girl she can be so sweet at times and so hard at times but I love her.
I have had Avery and Boston in a summer school on M,W for a few hours, its just fun activities Boston feels so big he was so excited the first day the 2nd day he cried for a bit then had a blast they have came home with all kinds of fun things I love it I wish I could do this every month. This day was pirates day they had a treasure hunt, got pirate tattos and of course little treasures for there treasure boxes that they decorated. The best part is I get Macoy one on one which never happens but poor little guy I have just dragged him around its so easy to take 1 to the grocery store.

Dallas And Dan Babysitting

So my camera broke and some how all my photos are gone on my computer Im dying hopefully they are saved on my hard drive some where. So I stole these pictures off Dallas Blog Her and Dan did a wonderful job taking on 3 extra kids while Jarom and I went to India for work, we were gone for 11 days, so long to be away from my kids I was dying to get home. What an amazing experience if any one has ever been to India I was very humbled, they just don't have much there we are extremely blessed to have the things we do Im so grateful for all that I have and for my sweet little family. I will post on India when I can get my pictures downloaded.

Thanks Dan and Dallas for taking such good care of my kiddos they had a blast going to the canyon.

Family Cruise

So I think this was one of my Favorite trips I have ever been on especially to go with my whole family and no kids, we were able to meet up with Shelly and Brian in Texas and then off to Cozumel and Progresso, and a few days at sea we made so many fun memories.

This was the Formal night which happen to be on my birthday, everyone dressed up for me hehe.. They sang and we went to a little show that night.

Oh and I had to take a picture of the yummy food, I have never liked fish so I thought I would branch out and try it a few of the night and guess what it was so so yummy, I'm going to try to learn how to cook fish I know its so good for you so if anyone has any special tricks let me know. The food on the cruise is always the best you can eat just about anything and whenever you want I think the yogurt ice cream was my favorite, and if you don't like it just order something else.
Oh and Jarom loves loves Pinacoladas our bill wasn't as high as the last cruise when him and Dusty watched 24 and order a million, so he had to limit himself and only spent $35 which was good they are $6 a piece that's even with no Alcohol.

We spent most nights in the Blue Safari being entertained with comedians, Dancers, Game shows, Bingo.
The work out room my Dad has probably never worked out in a gym so he was having lots of fun trying all the equipment out.
Brian was on the Game show he was so funny you had to run up and scream I'm so excited to be on the show he ran as fast as he could and totally ate it when he got to the stairs, everyone else thought he was serious but little did they know it was a joke haha..

The second we got off the ship we were crowded with people wanting us to buy things and get massages, so we were talked into it, it did feel pretty good $15 an hour can't beat that. So I think for a big family a cruise is the way to go everyone can do there own thing you don't need to decide where to eat, you just need to decide what fun entertainment you want to be apart of. I love being with my family everyone gets along so well I feel so blessed. I did miss my kiddies but they were well taken care of by Dan and Dallas thanks guys. My Sweet little princess turned 5 last week I'm not sure what I think about that she has been such a joy in our life's definitely a challenge at times but worth ever minute. There are so many things I love about her:

#1 She has turned into the best organizer, she will be in her room for hours rearranging her clothes, dresser, she has brought her favorite toys in, she has a little table that she puts different blanket on for the table cloth and sets out food at each spot, and of course has a vase with flowers in the middle, I have had to let her just do it even though I want to go in her room and put everything away, but I figure it is so cute that she takes the time to set everything up exactly how she wants.

#2 She has started putting all her clean clothes away on hangers and will put them in the exact spot that short sleeve go, dresses, pants etc its so cute.

#3 She absolutely loves her Dog she has been his little mother she takes him potty, feeds him, takes him on walks and I love to see her praise him when he goes potty on the mat she gets so excited she has to come get me and tell me how good he did.

#4 I love to see her in the morning when she comes up with her hair all crazy and has a big smile on her face, she used to go get Macoy out every morning but now its the dog.

#5 She love to do crafts and color pictures

#6 She loves playing with cousins and friends

#7 She is such a good help with the boys, she knows exactly what they need and helps them get dressed and feed

#8 She has been so excited that she can read a few words, but if I don't get her at the perfect time to work on homework don't count on it getting done she will make up excuse after excuse why she doesn't need to work on it.

#9 I have learned that I don't get her ready for school or church until its really close to the time we need to leave if I get her ready in advance she will have changed 10 times before we leave and her hair in completely ruined. I'm not kidding when I'm loading in the car she will run in her room to get something and I'm saying lets go.... and what is she doing changing agggggain I even try to buy her outfits that go together so at least they match but that doesn't do the trick she is very creative and loves clothes.

#10 She is such a sweet little girl, and has loved taking gymnastics

For her birthday the only thing she wanted was for me to take her shopping to get new clothes so funny but that's what we did and had a blast we made sure she tried them on and fit perfect before we bought them. We sure love her.

So we have a new Dog! Jarom thought it would be a good idea to bring a puppy home for the kids for christmas the kids have been in heaven on the other hand I'm not quiet there yet I have never been an animal lover but I'm trying really hard to give it a chance. He is so cute he will only be around 4 pounds, not suppose to shed and they are really friendly. If I can just get through the training process I think I will be in good shape, its a lot of patience and most days I'm ready to give up you have to stay on those little puppies all the time, I Think it would be easier if the kids didn't love him so much they just hold him all day long, its really cute they are always taking him to his matt and saying go potty go potty but that little pup just runs off so if you have any good tips please send them my way. The kids named him Milo I have to say it has been good for Avery she is so nurturing she thinks its her little baby and she has stopped getting Macoy out of his crib early in the morning she just gets her little puppy.

It wouldn't be the same party if Haley didn't sing she has such an amazing voice. What I would do to have talent like that. Then we had my uncle Jerry give us a spiritual thought which I really enjoyed this year he asked us what we thought the light of Christ is, we broke off in groups and then shared what we came up with, it was so great to see that as we center our lifes around christ our light will shine, he then went on to express his feeling of how he has felt the light of christ in each one of us, and challenged us to find the light in others, it has been so good for me as I look at other and find the light within them I find that those around me have so much of Christ's light.
This is my other Favorite Party The Helsten Party with lots of games, dinner, gifts and new memories. This bike was actually for Macoy but Boston would not get off it, it was so funny Macoy would try to push him off, but he wasn't going to give it up.
The Race Track was for Boston both Boston and Kacen got one they loved it, the other night I thought Boston was asleep but went down to find him up 2 hours later playing race cars sillly little Boy.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great thanksgiving started with the boys going shooting which is such a fun tradition then we went to the Johnson's house for a yummy dinner, and then hopped in the car and headed to Moab with my Family it was a blast, we could take all the kids on the Rhino (4 wheeler) and they loved it.My cute Mom stayed back in the Condo with Little Macoy.

Halloween Fun

We were invited to Chances 2nd Birthday, it was the cutest birthday ever Sommer is the most creative person I know, she had little stations set up, building blocks, digging in the dirt, hammering nails, all the kids got tool belts with construction hats and cute bags full of tools so so cute.Look at these rice crispy treats they were dump trucks.
This was the dessert pudding with brownies, and brownies with trucks was his cake.
This was the table that the kids sat at she had the rode with cones for the cups and truck plates, I don't know how she does it I don't even think that cute.

Macoy just loves balls they had all the building stuff and look what he finds the basket full of balls in the play room I think I'm going to have a ball player and yes he shirt will never stay dry he still just cant keep that spit under control.

So its been almost a year ago that my little brother Cory passed away, Its been hard at times but we were able to do his temple work this last week and how blessed I feel that we will be able to see him again someday, Im not sure if I would be able to get through this if I thought we could never see him again, it was such an amazing experience for me and my family. He always had a tender heart and would do anything for anyone thats what I loved about him most.

Washington Vacation

Washington Vacation we had so much fun Jaren and Nicolle invited us to go with them to her home town, it was a 11 hour drive in the car but the kids did so good. If you want to relax then you need to go to Nicolles parents house her parents taught me some new cooking tips, we had yummy fish which Jarom and I don't usually like her Dad knows how to season it perfectly so you don't get that fishy taste. We picked fresh raspberries every morning, green peppers, tomatoes you name it they had every fruit and vegetables you would want which I could live on.
We went to the fair which is way better than summer fest, and then went to the demolition Dur by, we had a day of helping organize her Moms kitchen and of course did a little hair, the kids played on a big blow up tramp, and the boys could sit and watch the Olympics while they tried to work. So much fun thanks for the great trip Jaren and Nicolle.

Our kids love ice cream they all like the swirl Macoy loves the cone with a little ice cream.

Avery loves having a little ice cream with a spoon and then eating the cone after.
Boston would perfer no cone with icecream in a cup with a spoon. Sorry Boston you can see he had eaten all the icecream and was trying to take off the wrapper but never eats the cone.

And kennedy was just so excited she got to have her own cone and hold it herself, look at that smile.

We got to go to American Idol this year, we had a blast with Sommer and Dusty, It was a great concert and so Loud. David Archelta has an amazing voice, I really like David cook to he is a great performer.

We always go to Scofield for the 4th it is so much fun its a getto town but comes alive only on the 4th, we do the parade which lasts 30 minutes and the kids go away with bags of candy, they have little shops set up, yummy spagetti dinner, pancake breakfast, raffle drawings, and snow cones yummy, My Grandpa grew up there.

Boston is 2 and is the sweetest little boy, he is my tender hearted child, he will give out hugs and kisses, he gets his feelings hurt really easy and is so sad when he makes me upset, he is so helpful he follows me around the house and wants to help clean, but he probably enjoys his juice and the broom broom the very most and his daddy, the second he wakes up in the morning its get dressed and outside so he can ride his bike, he is always asking when daddys going to be home so he can take him on a broom broom ride (motorcycle). He can get out of his crib and that has been hard he has always been my best sleeper but things have changed, its a challenge to get him to stay in, I have to always keep the front door he can open the door and just go outside scary I live on a pretty busy street. We sure love youi Bosotn Happy Birthday!
He loves shoes usually he is wearing his own not Averys.
For his birthday he got a 4 wheeler he loves it and is getting so good and making it turn and not run into the walls

So my little Macoy turned 1 where has the time gone, he is so dang cute, he has been such a joy in our family he is always so so happy, he just melts my heart with that smile of his. He is starting to stand on his own but not quit walking, his first word was ball, he loves balls he is always caring them around and has a pretty good arm. He has 2 bottom teeth and braking through the top four right now, he takes 2 naps a day and loves to eat. Avery still drags him around and of course still dressing him up, he is so used to it he really doesn't mind, Boston and him just laugh at each other they are going to be such good buddies, he is learning how to throw a fit oh no.. We sure do love him

Shelly had her baby, he is so cute he weighed 9lbs 3oz he was a big baby, named him Chad Cory Heslop after my brother that passed away isn't that so sweet. Shelly said he is such a good baby just sleeps Landon her first was a fussy baby so this is so wonderful for her. Hes a good mix I would say he has Shellys eyes for sure.

Jarom has been wanting to shave his head forever, he told Avery she could cut it she was so excited, just hope she doesn't get any ideas and cut her brothers. On Saturday we went up to Jaroms paretns Ranch packed a lunch and rode 4 wheelers with just our little famiy. The kids loved it, we haven't had a fun little family outing for a while.

Boston sat in Jaroms lap and thoght he was the one driving.

I just packed Macoy in this little sling it worked great, he even fell asleep.

Well i don't blog Journal very much, but I thought I would tell you what I have been trying to do latley, I have been trying to put a side my to do list which is hard for me to do, (because there is always one more thing that needs to get done) and give my full attention to my kids for a few hours after lunch before naps and either go somewhere, color, or be outside, and I have to say that my kids have been so much better and I have loved focusing on just them and watching there little personalities. They are small for only so long and I need to enjoy them, plus thats my calling in life right know is to be a Mom and they are growing up so fast. I sure do love them and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. The Bonus is they are worn out and all go down for naps I even put Avery back on naps and we are all happier.

Finally a nice Saturday, I was in heaven being outside working on the yard Jarom actually helped rake leafs and clean up the back yard (Jarom just really doesn't like yard work) then there is me that thinks its a great family activity to do together I love it if he is helping, but can't stand doing all by myself. The kids just rode there bikes and threw rocks in the pond for hours, Boston just absolutely loves being outside on a vroom vroom, the second he wakes up in the morning he is saying vroom vroom, and won't do anything else until he gets to go outside. Why can't this weather just stay warm we are getting so antsy.

For family night I couldn't think of what to do so I pulled out the Mary and Joseph dress ups that Jaroms Mom made.. I think this was one of the best family nights, Boston was a wise man, Avery was Mary, Jarom was Joseph, Macoy was Baby Jesus and I was an Angel we talked about the new star and colored and cut out lots of star, and I told them evertime they do something Jesus would want them to do I would hang up a star. For the next few days we had to dress up and trade off outfits, its amazing what young children learn and remember. We have tried really hard this year to stick to every Monday night it really pays off when Avery thinks we need to have family night every night before bed it is so sweet. She likes to be the one to give the lesson.

My family tradition growing up my Mom always made green breakfast so I had to carry that on. It was really fun we had waffles, eggs, homemade syrup, and green orange julius, the kids thought it was great especaiily Macoy he hasn't really had anything but baby food, we gave him a waffle he ate the whole thing. I love famiy traditions I think every one should do them.

Well Jarom would not love me to put this on but I had to this is what happens when Avery has you for her brother she thinks that they are her little dolls she must need a sister. Poor little boys this is daily I tell her boys don't wear girl clothes, she says mom they wanted to wear it, or I wanted them to match me.

For my birthday we went to the Jazz game, with Heather and Kacey Nelson which was really fun. It was funny I had gone to the bathroom during half time and came out and couldn't find anyone, I thought they left me but as I was looking around there Jarom was behind the Red Mango ice cream helping serve. ( If you haven't tried red mango yet you need to 70 calories and no fat its so so good). Jarom is really good friends with the people that own it, the line was so long so he thought he would just help, and look what he was wearing he fit in perfect, we all got free icecream so worth it. I'm just getting to old and thanks Mom she had my kids asleep and the house picked up when I got home I have the best Mom ever...

I'm so ready for it to be warm.. We have been trying a few new places and I think the kids have had a great time getting out. We went to the living Aquarium and had a great time. Im not sure what Boston was looking at but he must have really thought it was cool. Canyon (Carrie's little guy), Kendra, Kennedy, Avery, and Kacen
Kangaroo zoo was really fun for the kids, Avery loves getting together with her cousins

Landon and Macoy, I'm not sure when they stop putting everything in there mouth and Macoy mouth is a fauset, I change his shirt a few times a day plus bibs and not just when he's teething.

For Avery's Birthday we went and had there nails and hair done it was so fun and they sure felt like princesses. I sure love having a little girl she gets more fun every day.

Savanna was so cute she told her exactly what she wanted, she wanted it straight with the ends curled up and a little braid in the front with a bobby pin in her bangs Meg sat so still and has amazing hair, she wanted it curled with her bow back in.

Oh and don't forget the nails and toes they had sparkles and a different color for both.

We went out to lunch I said choose anywhere you want to go and Savanna only wanted Carl's Jr. so thats where we went they played and had a good time, it was a little to crowded for me. I didn't want to take the gifts in so we opened them in the car thanks for the tea party and Brat's dress make-up doll Avery has loved playing with them.

So this was the best girft Jarom could have given me Im just not into Flowers there really pretty but yes I would rather have the money. Jar wrote me one of those candy bar letters it was so cute he had to think really hard he did a really good job. I sure love being married to him he is always trying his best to make me happy. We went out to dinner, movie and spent time talking about when we first were dating instead of talking about kids and bills it was great to remember the days of dating life. The kids and I went to his office and decorated his desk with hearts and love notes, Avery thought it was great being sneaky and Boston just sat and ate all the candy.

What do you keep in your purse?
So I'm in betweeen purses right now I have had the same one for to long, I usually just carry a daiper bag with my wallet. And have a little purse I can transfer into quickly but that one needs to go. This is what I carry with me a phone, coupon book, check book, lip stuff and planer
Which one should I keep I could do the bigger one that would carry kid stuff to or the smaller one for when its just me which one is cuter?

Happy Birthday Avery!

My Litlle girl turned 4 today I can't believe it she is getting so big and Im feeling so old. I love her so much what a blessing she is to our family she brings us so much joy and happiness. I have to say I had the best day on Monday with her I forget how good she really is when its one on one with her she is always sharing attentions with the boys. I got a babysitter for the boys she came to work with me for a few hours at the salon and didn't makea a peep she just organized the
fingernail polish and washed the mirrors. Afterward we were off shopping for some new clothes at 4 you would think it would still be toys or dolls but its clothes and its a lot easier for me to take her to pick her own clothes out so Im not returning later. We hit the 40% off at old Navy and the mall she loved it. She didn't want to go home. I sure love having a little girl.

No this is not averys dress its actually mine she is on to my clothes she lets me know what look good. The other day she helped me pack it was so cute she made sure I had a necklace and shoes to match ever outfit. She is so much fun! Boston is such a good help he is always wanting Macoy to play he thinks its really cool when he can take Macoy on a broom broom ride.
And they love playdough its not my favorite thing, its so messy. Boston pulls little pieces off and loves to throw it on the ground. But its fun to watch them use there imaginations and try to make things.

We had such a wonderful christmas this year, we usually sleep at my moms but this year we decided to stay home the kids are gettting older and we bring lots of craziness to my parents. Ave new exactly what was going on this year, she was so excited! My little Mermaid
Avery was such a good help, she opened most of Bostons gifts it was cute she would try to show him how to open the present but get to impatient.

Our Family christams party my Mom is so cute she had a yummy dinner and my Dad loves to do the games and hand out money when we win . They had ginger bread houses for the kids to decorate but I think the adults had a better time making them.

This is just a little of what I do everyday. I was upstairs on the computer for 20 minutes and this is what the kids were doing, Yes do you see Averys legs shes hiding she new she was being naughty, Boston thought it was pretty funny. Santa might be taking a present away.

No Macoy does not eat chettoes yet, Avery was playing with him and he must of grabed the bag and loved every second of it.
This is my cousin Stephanie little girl Savannah we were downstairs doing hair and this is what the kids were doing in the laundry room I thought maybe they would be coloring but no they were painting nails.
Sorry this is not the best picture but it was one of the many times I have had to clean up pooh in the last few days poor little guy he was just not feeling good. What a week and then last night I was visiting teaching jarom was watching the kids and the kids got in to fingernail polish again and Boston hand prints were all over my new leather coach, so I took fingernail polish to it and guess what it took off all the dye my coach is ruined.. Please help can i dye the leather and how in the world do you get the nail polish off its still all over. Yikes........

Either way but I think opening presents with wrapping paper is lots more fun.

2. Real tree or artificial?

I definentely like real trees, the yummy smell and they feel more like christmas but we do have a artificial one just because its easier. Growing up we always had a real one and usually flocked (my favorite)

3. When do you put up the tree?

Usually the day after thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down?

After new years its always nice to get your house all cleaned up for the new year.

6. Favorite gift received as a child?

My pink caboodle I remember sneaking around and finding it my mom told me that she was going to take it back so when she gave it to me I was so excited I had it for years it was filled with all kinds of girl stuff.

Yes, its the one I made in 2nd grade kind of silly, its probably time for a really nice one, but it was fun putting it up this year and telling Avery that mommy made it when she was little she likes to rearange it.

Well every christmas morning my mom makes yummy rolls and egg casserole and Sommer always brings us yummy rolls with carmel sauce Jarom eats almost the whole plate before I get any. (and then he is really sick and says he needs to take a long nap)

Either way Love lights just have never convinced Jarom to actually put them up but I love a house of lights.

I love when my cousin Haley sings Breath of Heaven and we watch The Nativity.

When my brother Derrick and I tried to find all our presents we had an attick and we found a box full of gifts the bad thing was when christmas came I didn't get everything I saw in the box. One of the most meaningful was when all the kids took the money they would spend on each other and bought for a family it means so much more to do somthing for someone else, it brings the spirit of christmas in.

21. Favorite Christmas Tradition

*I would have to say my favorite is Christmas Eve with th Johnson Family every year we have reuben sandwiches a little program and Haley sings its always a spirtual night and I love that.
*Our christmas Eve Pajamas we always open a new pair so we can have cute ones for all the pictures
* My Families christmas party my Dad and Mom plan some really fun things we always play Bingo, Pool, the sack game (my mom is really good) my Dad always hands out money when we win. Its so much fun.

Ok I just need to say I'm not very good at updating my blog and I haven't loved the background the last 2 hours I have been trying to change it and its just not looking good, my kids are awake and all needing me right now so I guess we will just leave it for now. Avery has been crying for the past 35 minutes she found this sparkle dress and can't stop crying about it, I told her if she's really good Santa will bring it to her but she just doesn't think thats a good idea. What am I going to do I actually was going to buy it but it was really low so if any one has seen a cute sparkly dress let me know.

Jarom took me to Wicked in LA for our anniversary it was so good! It was a really short trip we were able to go to Universal the next day. Its always good to have a vacation without kids even though I miss them lots I think my Mom was really happy to have us back (she had the kids, avery managed to give Boston a little hair cut and Macoy wouldn't let her set him down).

Hunting

So if you don't know my husband yet, he loves hunting and I try to be the supportive wife and let him go. Once a year we get to go to scoilfield and hunt with the family (or should I say I stay in the trailor and cook food for the boys ). Its actully really fun to be with Jarom and the kids. It was really cold this year we bundled Boston up so tight that everytime he took a step he fell down it was the like the christmas movie.

The fun ended that Sunday morning when Jaroms parents showed up and gave us some really bad news, my Brother Cory Passed away that morning, Wow thats not the news anyone wants. Its been a tuff week but the familys hanging in there, we have had lots of love and support thanks to everyone.

So I think Macoy is my smiliest baby he will smile at anyone or maybe I just can't remember my days all blend together he is the sweetest little boy. I just want to squeeze and kiss him all day.

By the way he still sleeps in his swing during the day its the only way I can get him to sleep for more than an hour, I keep trying to put him in his bassenett but he just won't do it. At this point I will do whatever it takes to have a minute to get something done.
